Punahoa Beach Apartments is a small, 15-unit condominium project on Ilili Road in South Kihei with direct ocean frontage.  There are multiple projects in the area which are similar and this is a good example.  Those who continue driving down South Kihei Road without the curiosity to turn down some of the oceanside side streets will miss these delightful properties.  This particular project is located on Ilili Road which runs between the ocean and S. Kihei Rd.  A little further north is another such street, Halama St, with it's direct oceanfront, multi-million dollar homes.  These streets are worth exploring where there is something for everyone.
