Haleakala Shores condominiums are located in South Kihei across South Kihei Road from Kam III Beach Park.  It consists of 78 individually-owned condominium units in a 4-story building.  All are 2 bedroom/2 bath units.  It was constructed in 1974 and is available for vacation rental.  Although just across the street from the ocean, the building orientation is such that ocean views are limited or non-existent.  There is parking under the building, some in a tandem arrangement possible by pulling up past the paved area and onto a gravel area.  This provides protection from the hot tropical sun.
