The Cottages at Kehalani are a Stanford Carr Development on 23 acres at the base of the West Maui mountains just south of Wailuku.  The neighborhood consists of 114 homes featuring 6 different contemporary designs.  The homes were built in the 2007/2008 time frame.

The sloping contour of the land provides stunning views for homes on the makai side of some streets which have private driveways.  Homes on the mauka side have driveways shared by 4 homes.  The author lived in one of the makai-side homes for a period of time and enjoyed the view.

The Kehalani Community Association has an excellent website listing the different projects comprising this community.  Included therein are maps and other information.
